I am a studio potter based in Macclesfield, UK.
Drawn to the smoothness of weathered stones and utilitarian forms shaped by time and use, these influences find their way into my work through soft forms and subtle finishes. The pots I choose to make reflect some of the ways in which I live, and the things that I enjoy using.
Some of my first lessons in clay were at Mud Rock Ceramics in Singapore, where the studio owners generously gave me the space and encouragement to grow as a maker. I was a studio assistant and teacher at Mud Rock for 8 years.
Since then I have continued my training at Clay College Stoke, nestled in the heart of the Potteries. The college's intensive two-year diploma focuses on developing independent studio potters, and has given me the opportunity to learn from some of the most respected makers working today. I graduate in July 2026.
